Tiger Tapes ("We", "Tiger Tapes”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

Information we may collect from you

Information you give us

You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our site or in our catalogue, by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise.

This includes information you provide when you register to use our site, subscribe to our service, search for a product, place an order on our site or through our catalogue, request a catalogue, sign up to our workshops, contact us about affiliate/sponsorship opportunities, enter a competition, promotion or survey, supply details of a clinic and when you report a problem with our site.

  • Occupation and affiliated company name or team/club association

  • Financial and credit card information
  • Any other personal information you disclose in your correspondence with us, contact forms, public reviews of our services and public comments on our social media channels.

We will let you know at the point of collecting your information whether this is optional, or whether it is necessary for you to provide this information to meet certain statutory or contractual requirements. If the latter and you do not wish to provide us with this information, this may limit the services we are able to provide to you.

Information we receive about you from other sources

We may receive the following personal data about you from various third parties and public sources as set out below:

  • Your affiliated sports team representative body or employer, if we are an official supplier to them;
  • Providers of our social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Linkedin, if you interact with us through these platforms;
  • Our third party service providers of technical, payment and delivery services such as SagePay and DPD Courier.

With regard to each of your visits to our site we may automatically collect the following technical information:

  • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

We may share your personal information with any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

    • Our delivery and order fulfilment partners, including DPD Courier

  • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our site.

  • If Tiger Tapes or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.

Storage of your personal data

We keep your data for as long as it’s necessary to meet the relevant purposes for which we’ve collected your data, including for the purpose of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.

We will endeavour to respond to your requests within one month and free of charge. Please note that in respect of all these rights, we reserve the right to:

  • request for proof of your ID to process the request or request further information
  • charge you a reasonable administrative fee for any repetitive, manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
